A Birmingham Aston Juxta Settlement Certificate, dated 1709, refers to the Poor of the Parish of Sheldon and lists a Thomas Tuckley and his wife and children.

1688 Baker Humphrey Tuckley started the Willenhall family. He married Sarah Bradely at Himley 20th April 1688. She died 22nd April 1689. Humphrey remarried Beatrice Traunter at Pattingham 16th Oct 1689. Humphrey died 1714 at Bentley. In his Will he left his possessions to his son John.

Locksmith Humphrey and John Tuckley, probably sons of John, born circa 1716/20 [dates not found]  married 1739 & 1743 respectively appear to be the first Tuckley Locksmiths.
1765 Locksmith John Tuckley, born 1740, at his marriage in 1765 at Bushbury [now a suburb of Wolverhampton] was described as a locksmith.
1766 Locksmith John, born 1716/20, in his Will dated 1766, was described as a Spring Chest Locksmith.
1780 Locksmith Humphrey Tuckley described in 1780 as a Box Lock Maker in the Pearson and Rollason Directory.

I am descended from Humphrey.
